Midland

Googling really doesn’t reveal anything at all about Midland or the meaning of the small “GFL” acronym above the word Midland.

The movement is a Landeron 4750, the same as used by many other watch makers on this (see here for list). But it is the all stainless steel case that makes this watch a little different with those very striking asymmetric lugs. In addition, the case back and the battery cover arrangement are a little different to the other Landeron cases I’ve seen.

Note: For details on the use of modern batteries in Landeron 4750/4751/4760 based watches, please see the relevant page in the Landeron section of this site.
