Concord Watch Company SA was found in 1908 and is still around today.
This rather nice looking Concord µ-Quartz watch contains the Golay FB7723 movement. It is one of the few Quartz Controlled Balance Wheel movements and first appeared in 1972 when it was presented at the Basle Fair by Corum of Switzerland.
It is rather strange in having two ‘crowns’. The one of the back, which is similar to that on 214 Accutrons and early Timex Electrics, sets the hands while the one on the side is used to set the date.
It was not produced in large numbers and finding a watch with the FB7723 is difficult.
