The Hamilton Spectra was one of my first watch collecting grails! This was before I had heard of Alatairs, Vegas, Meteors etc…but it makes no difference, the Spectra remains one of my all time favorite Hamilton Electrics.
The dial is one of the most interesting of all Hamilton Electric dials but I cannot decide whether the black or the white one is the best looking; glad I have them both! Both examples below contain the 500 movement.
The case shares the same design as the Hamilton Saturn. The Saturn is much rarer than the Spectra but is not as sought after, probably because the Saturn case is only gold-filled and the dial is not as interesting as the Spectra.
